UVA was on the wrong end of an ass kicking this past weekend. Just when I thought we were in it with Georgia Tech the Jackets come out in the second half, march down the field over 11 minutes, score and more or less demoralize the morale of the Cavaliers. Unfortunately there was an absurd unsportsmanlike conduct call on 3rd down against us that prevented us from getting the ball back and possibly cutting the lead to three and staying alive in the game. However, even though we are perfect in side the red-zone this year too many of those opportunities have resulted in field goals and not TDers. If you're inside the 5 it's imperative that you get that 6. Like I've mentioned the rest of the season is an absolute grind. We must protect home field and continue playing well on the road if we want any shot at a bowl game. We need to grab three more wins some how. In order to this people need to step up as leaders and get this team back on track. It's going to take a strong mental approach and tough play to get where we want to be. That starts with Puke at home this weekend. We MUST avenge the ass kicking we took down there last year. Also, we need to get back at their team for dancing in front of our sideline after their victory last year. Puke sucks.
Ohio State got back on track this weekend. The defense again looked dominant and Pryor played better.
The Indians hired Manny Acta as manager. This should be interesting.
The NBA starts up this week and I'm pretty excited about that. I'm really looking forward to seeing what LeBron, Shaq, and company have in store for us this year. This has to be the year that the Cavs smack the league and raise that trophy up in June.
